About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the New York region. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share.
What you will do.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the New York region through prospecting, networking, and other lead generation activities.
Conduct research to identify potential clients and industries to target for new business development.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target companies.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
Act as a subject matter expert on the company's products and services and provide solutions that meet clients' needs.
Attend industry conferences, events, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners.
Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up with prospects and leads.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and terms with clients and partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Proven track record of developing and closing new business opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Must be willing to travel as needed.
