Director, Security Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures that are in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Lead the security operations team to ensure that all security incidents are handled promptly and efficiently.

• Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals that address the unique security needs of potential clients.

• Collaborate with other departments, including IT and engineering, to develop and implement security controls that mitigate risk and protect our clients' assets.

• Manage and monitor security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

• Provide guidance and support to our clients' security teams and ensure that they have the resources they need to effectively manage their security operations.

• Monitor emerging security threats and trends and adjust our security strategy as needed to ensure that we stay ahead of potential threats.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience leading security operations teams.

• In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM systems.

• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and senior management.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a remote environment.

• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
